The ICE is the Internal Central Electronics. Basically takes care of all lighting stuff, wipers, etc. I had the dealership change the mode so the low beams don't come on when the DRLs are active. As far as I know, the TechII is the only way to tell what mode the ICE is set for. As far as the bulb goes, I didn't know how to get it out, and still don't. I looked at the socket from the front and back, and couldn't figure out how to get the bulb/socket out from the back. I needed to clean the lens anyway, so I figured I'd just replace it from the front. The headlight assembly on the passenger side is a little bit different from the headlight assembly on the driver's side on my car (I suspect previous owner was in an accident), and the passenger side socket comes out from the back by just twisting and pulling. Go figure that the driver's side would be the one to always burn out.
