Convertible Rear Window

Dear Friends,
I have a '96 900s drop-top and the rear window is becoming separated from the fabric. It looks like there is some kind of gasket that has split.
I did a search and 18 months or so ago someone said they glued it with "Goop". Is this the best way? I'd be afraid of getting the goop on the fabric or the glass.
Is this something an auto trim shop could fix?
Thanks!
