I'm going to try to find the recommended bobcat urine.

When my '95 900s was about 2 years old, I left the garage door open on a hot day, and my car windows were open. A neighbor's cat came in to the garage, and when I came out to the garage I saw kitty prints on the hood of the car. I cursed the cat, got in the car, and drove to the video store, where I rolled up the windows and locked the car.

Ten minutes later I came out of the video store, opened the car door, and immediately smelled the signature odor of cat urine. The neighbor's cat had gone in to my car in my garage and had pissed in the driver's footwell, on the pedals, carpet, floormat, dashboard, and center console. Absolutely disgusting. I had to disassemble the center console and dashboard and buy new floormats and use several cleaners on the carpet to finally get rid of the smell. WE never left the car windows open again. It was an infuriating experience.

I have since moved, and the new house has only one-car garage, so the 900 parks outside. The neighbor's cat likes to sit on the hood of my black car. That's why I need the bobcat urine (or the bowl of antifreeze).

About the cat sitting on your convertible top, friends of mine with a convertible had the same problem with their own cat. They ended up putting a towel on the convertible top when they came home so the cat's fur wouldn't be on the top's canvas.
