fuel leak from top of gas tank !

One of the fuel lines popped loose on my 95 900S leaving me stranded! It's the line that goes down into the top of the tank closest to the front of the car. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Apparently it's held on by a clip. I had the fuel pump replaced 3 months ago!!?
To add insult to injury, the tow truck cracked my oil pan, my indy shop says they can weld it like new. Any thing I should look for when the oil pan is off?
Thanks in advance,
RF
