If you're going to stick with plain old regular oil, just drain the old stuff and put the new oil in. Search for "drain plug" and "fill plug" to get some idea of what you might be in for, but I can tell you the plugs will come off with the right tools. If you want to upgrade to synthetic transmission oil, you'll have to drain, fill part-way, run the engine, drain again, and fill.
