You should talk to your insurance co. They would be the ones paying for it, if there is anything to replace, not the dealer.
When I got rear ended last summer, I took my car to my indie to have it inspected after it got out of the body shop. He didn't find any mechanical damage, so I was happy about that. However, if he had found damage, an adjuster would come out and look at the car to approve any repairs.
I had just been to my mech about a month prior and had all my records, so if there had been any mechcanical damage, I was in a good position to prove that the accident had caused it.
