Fixing ACC sensor fan question Posted by aizzo [Email] (#1220) [Profile/Gallery] (more from aizzo) on Wed, 3 Dec 2003 08:55:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The ACC sensor fan in my car is making an awful noise, so I'm going to take it out this weekend and clean/lube it. If it has gone beyond repair, I will replace it.
But here is my question. I read Rob's instructions on how to do this and he suggests either pulling the ACC control panel or the passenger side kick panel to gain access to the fan. Which of this is preferred and/or easier?
I have pulled the passenger kick panel before to get to the ACC control unit, and as I recall it wasn't too bad, but I think I had to remove the glove box and it took a bit of time. Is there an easier way to get the side kick panel off?
How does one go about removing the ACC control panel?
Thanks a lot -
Alan
