for me in the '97 Talladega. We all feel that the track is rather slippery. I have a very difficult time hooking up. Mike does much better in his '88 SPG and shorter gear ratio. He's pushing about 24+ lbs of boost, whereas mine is at 18-20, depending on the heat and humidity of the day.
Mike and Eric have also gone to MIR. I've yet to try that track. Both say it's much easier to hook up there though.
Not sure what the track fees are at MIR, but at 75/80, Friday Night Test and Tune, you can run as many times as the crowd will cycle through for $15. Can't beat that!
