To All Club Members:
The latest newsletter is going to the printer today (finally!) so you should have it in your hands by the middle of next week.
Two things require more immediate attention, though:
Club Sponsor Viking Automotive, now of Gaithersburg, MD, is having a garage sale to empty out their old location in Damascus on Sunday, December 15, 2002 from 9 - 5. 26501 Ridge Rd., Damascus, MD 20872.
Items available include: body and interior parts, engines and parts, and more. Prices will be drastically reduced for quick sale, and cash only will be accepted (except for club members, who can write checks as well). Call Viking at 301-947-7895, or e-mail at Vikingsaab@aol.com to check part availability and prices.
Dyno Day: We are currently trying to organize a Dyno Day event for club members and others. For those not familiar with dynos, they measure horsepower and torque numbers as produced by your vehicle, "at the wheels." It's also used to measure air/fuel ratio, among many other performance factors. The information dyno runs provide is highly useful for understanding how your car is performing, keying you into what factors need to be better diagnosed and fixed to optimize performance.
Hopefully, we can hold this event in the next two months. Everyone will pay a cheaper-than-normal rate if we can get enough people to go, and club members will get an additional discount courtesy of the club. If you are interested in attending, please e-mail me by clicking on my name above. The more we have, the cheaper it will be.
