We are awaiting the arrival of at least 5 more registrations we have been
told are in the mail. All registrations will be overnighted to Carlisle
Wednesday for Thursday morning delivery. Both Stephen Goldberger and I have
had conversations with Carlisle Productions today regarding our tent and our parking spaces. For those straggler registrations which may not meet the cut-off, CPSC will handle the registration fee payment to ensure that all who want to attend will be included in the pre-registrations. (We will of course be reimbursed upon the arrive of the checks). I have attached the
most recent listing, as of yesterday. I will also send out another update
tomorrow, confirming whose registrations went to Carlisle Productions.
Everyone will receive a name badge when you check in at the SAAB hospitality tent. Please note that if we do not have the name of your "spouse" or "significant other" listed, and they will be in attendance, we would like to prepare their name tag in advance as well. Please review the information we have and make certain we have accurate information for you.
We are told that Carlisle will also review our registration roster on
Saturday for the attendence award and will sweep any SAABs who inadvertantly omitted a club affiliation on the sign-in forms, to ensure proper credit for all SAABs in attendance. That's the good news. The bad news is that BMW has selected Carlisle for the 2002 celebration, so be prepared to see some BMWs on the show grounds this year. The trophy hunt should be interesting to say the least.
I will be sending out another communication later this week detailing some
of the things to bring along to the show, particularly if this is your first time to Carlisle. We will also have the itinerary done to help with your planning. Special thanks go out to everyone who have registered thus far, and the clubs and organizations who have supported our 2002 efforts. We are in this together.
