Some of the physics is questionable, some completely wrong.
I was squirming in my seat when she "had to let him go" to save herself.
What was pulling him? He had already lost his velocity relative to her and the station. After the initial pull, he should have been have been no "weight" at all.
It's a little hard to imagine that the Hubble, the International Space Station (ISS) and the Chinese Space Station are all so (relatively) close together.
It would seem like NASA wouldn't have been so surprised by the debris trajectory. And how does one satellite explosion cause such a ripple effect. Do each of these other satellites have explosive capabilities to cause their debris to accelerate from the initial debris?
She gets to the ISS and finds the Soyuz escape capsule damaged, with the parachute ejected. She then gets to the Chinese version, which is identical other than button labeling? But when landing in that one, it needs to go through significant shedding of other components to release the parachute, not of which appeared to have happened to the ISS version. And she, some specialist, can "drive" this Chinese version.
I know I'm rattling off a lot of "problems", but overall, I still heartily recommend this movie.
