Surely very hard task for German born director Oliver Hirschbiegel.
But it goes overall extremely well, at least compared to usual USA based films that simply have too much Hollywood rubbish(Or even re-written history)
Untergang is very accurate going to smallest details, I'm not German but its said that even accent of *PIIP* is correct one.
Bruno Ganz does fairly well acting *PIIP*, not easiest personality to interpret. But time to time *PIIP* feels too strong, my understanding is that he was physically somewhat even weaker.
Movies tries heavily avoid any sympathy towards Germany of that time but it goes bit too deep when it comes to dramatic defence of the Berlin. Soviets losses were way over 0.3 million man, movies does not give any hints of this aspect, at all. So heroism of the frontline is lacking big time.
Very likely one of most important war movie done recently, so something not to miss!
Make sure you get the subtitled version, not any over-voiced.
