and a wheel cleaning question

Same month old Aero, got a question about the rims. Of course the wheels, especially the front ones, are filthy with brake dust. On my old Saturn's alloy rims, I'd just spray on some wheel cleaner, give it a brush or two, then spray it off. However on the Saturn the brake rotors and calipers weren't so exposed as they are on the 9-5 Aero. The Meguiar's wheel cleaner says to avoid getting the stuff on the brake parts, but that seems pretty tough with the wheels on the Aero. Does it really matter? Any tips? I thought about spraying the wheel brush down real good then scrubbing the wheels with it. Am I worrying too much?! Thanks again,
jeff
