yeah, i'm a fanatic about having clean, new blades. with every wash, i also do a quick cleaning of the blades with rubbing alcohol. unfortunately the previous owner apparently was not as particular or diligent about keeping clean blades!
from what i understand the kit i ordered (see my other post) should work these scratches right out. fingers crossed that i don't unintentionally make things worse!
