I did the same thing to my 02 SE that was 2 months old. I went to the dealer and they recommended the local franchisee of "Leather Medic". The dealer uses them to repair punctures and tears like yours and mine. I called them up after doing a search on the WWW. They came out to my job site and patched it up in an hour.
They fix it the way you would think they would. First they fill the scratch in with some sort of filler. Then they sand it down and actually airbrush the correct leather color paint 3 different times.
Your really have to look to find the repair spot. It cost me about $80 for a 3 inch scratch.
