My partner just bought a new Honda Fit and I noticed that Honda applies a clear plastic decal where the hood, door and hatch stops/bumpers contact the body. Looks like a good idea to me. Is this the same stuff as the clear hood guard stuff?
On my Viggen the paint is worn away to the primer coat where the stops/bumpers contact, this includes the rubber hood wedges that centre the hood. On the SPG that I sold recently these spots were rusting and I don't want to go there again..
