Poor Boy's Trim Restorer is the best product I've found for caring for plastic, vinyl, rubber and painted black trim. It's way better than Armorall and lasts a lot longer. It also protects against UV - I use it on interior and exterior surfaces.... it gets rid of wax staining and makes black rubber spoilers and bumpers look like new.
I haven't had success with Back to Black... it has black pigment in it, is semo opaque and is difficult to apply without streaking. If more than one coat is applied, it produces a brittle finish which can crack. It doesn't last long and fades quickly. I don't think it would be good at all over a grey color.
Try Poor Boy's TR - bet you'll be impressed.....
