Posting for a friend. He left his Audi TT convertable with the top down in the parking lot, and did not notice the downpour just after lunch. after the downpour, the sun came out strong and baked the seats dry.
Now the leather seats are dry, stained and feel like cardboard.
from this board I recomended leatherique, and he has so far completed 4 applications of applying and allowing to sit in the sun with the windows rolled up as suggested here.
there is virtually no improvement. The leather looks marginally better but still stained and still feels very hard.
is the leather too far gone? any advice for him to try?
thanks!
bob
