- could you make one out of that 3m clear bra stuff?
- or you could use Griots spray on bra.I used it on my son's 9000 Aero when I delivered it to him in texas. see the last two pics at the link below.
I sprayed a large portion of the hood to protect it on the trip from NC to TX, so it looks kind of cheesy in the pics. It protected the finish perfectly though.
you could spray a much thiner strip and it would look quite good. it is like spray paint, is rubbery, has a rough texture and and comes in any color as along as its black.
btw that spray on bra aint bad stuff. it lasts a good long time .... depending on the weather and such it could last 6 months or more.
