'Spots' are from the tempered glass.... Tempered glass is made by heating the glass sheet then rapidly cooling the surfaces with jets of air. The jets of air can leave the a pattern of quench marks on the glass that are especially noticable when view through polarized lens or in polarized light. This is normal and there is no way to remove the spots.
