Sometimes while detailing, i'll get a little crazy with my applicator, and hit an occasional door handle. What I do, is when it dries, a hard bristled toothbrush is great for getting wax out of pourus surfaces. You can use oils, or covers up, but that's all they'll do.. Cover it up. You need to get it out of the textured surface.
take a good sharp pair of scissors, or a razor blade, and cut the bristles down on the toothbrush to half length. This is a great detailing secret.
Good luck!
