I worry about such things penetrating the vinyl and getting into the adhesive layer. When the vinyl buckles, this tells me that the vinyl is swelling and that the adhesive is allowing it too move. Two things going on.
So is that black metal, or vinyl over the metal. We saw lots of this going on with the NG900's and 9-3's.
