GSM is the European standard so if you ever do any traveling you might want to consider a "world phone". I just got a Nokia 6340i which does BOTH TDMA and GSM! I'm very happy with the reception and the battery life is great.

Some of those fancy color phones have limited battery life and let's face it... They're gimmicky. I'd much rather use a REAL digital camera than the one's found on a cellphone. And who are you gonna send the image to?

Most important... TRY the phones out yourself in the store before buying anything. If you're used to a Nokia or a Motorola you might not like how some of the others organize their menus, etc. Some are downright SLOOOOW too.
