Hopefully I will be driving it tonight. For those who dont remember I also have a 1973 Datsun 240Z which I was restoring for over the past year. Here is a short list (read all I could remember) of what I have done.
F54 L28 Swap (2.8l with flattop pistons)
Polished and ported E88 head (mated with F54 makes 10.5:1 up from 8.5:1 on a 2.4 liter
Late model 5sp(replaced 4speed)
R200 swap (3.90 rearend replaced 3.43)
Retrofitted 1971 SU carbs with airhorns (sidedraft carbs)
Headers with Cool-Tec header wrap and spray
Custom built aluminum heat shield
2.5in exhaust (headers back with canister muffler)
Holley Redline fuel pump
Holley RRFPR
ARP Rod bolts
Crane x3000 (converts points to unilite)
Crane Hi-6 ignition box
Crane LX91 coil
Taylor Hi-pro 8mm plug wires
Late model turbo oil pump
Painless wiring system
Eibach Springs
Tokico Struts
MSA Strut Tower bars
Suspension Techniques sway bars (front & rear)
Energy Suspension bushing set
Goodridge stainless steel brakelines
Hawk brake pads
MSA front air dam
solid shift bushings
Grant Steering wheel (13in D shape)
Corbeau Forza seats
Corbeau 4 pt harnesses
Pioneer head unit with RF componet and Pioneer 6x9
And thats only the stuff I can remember!
We started the car yesterday and it fired the very first time, it was well worth over a year wait. Now if the damn sway bars will get in I can finally drive the car.
