I've spent the past year working in the new RX330 paint shop as a consultant. You've just put food on my table and put gas in my 3 SAAB's.
I would guess you have a Kyushu Plant built RX330 (Japan). The VIN should start with "J". The only ones built in Canada so far are press vehicles. I bet they make it to the crusher soon. They're in the middle of a trial and full production ramps up in a few months. The Candian built version be the first Lexus built outside of Japan. That's huge for Toyota to do that, and all the big shots have been through from Japan. I actually stayed out of the plant the morning the #2 guy from Toyota Motor Corp (Japan) came through. Everyone was nervous that day!
In case you don't already know, Lexus is fanatical about quality. The folks in the plant actually preach it. They call it the Lexus Covenant. They all pull together for a perfect product: from line workers all the way up to the top. It's for real, not like Ford's PR campaign about Quality is Job 1.
Thanks again and I hope you enjoy your new 483N (internal Toyota code)!
Randy
