I'm new to this site and have a question regarding anyone's experience with a remote radar detector. I've had my new '03 9-5 Aero for the past 2 days, and realize that the car just doesn't like to go the speed limit. In fact it hates to. I had a 9000 CSE 7 years ago, but this thing flies! I've been looking at several remote radar & laser detectors over the internet, and the BEL 975R, Whistler 3400, or Escort Passport SR7 or SRX (too expensive!!) look like my options. The first 3 units need to be coupled with a Laser Jammer as well (BEL 904 or Blinder Laserjammer or Escort Laser Shifter ZR3 ). Question is: Has anyone mounted any of these units in a 9-5/9000? Space is at an alltime premium. I already have an XM module in that space just in front of the shift, so that's out of the question. Also, any suggestions on the radar detector/laser jammer selection? THANKS!
