I don't mean to flame here, but as far as the trailblazer package being a solid platform, you are dead wrong. After having a '02 Bravada for a year, it had multiple recalls and the AWD system failed multiple times (3 to be exact, I was hoping for a 4’th to activate the lemon law), mostly in the midst of a New England snow storms, and it is useless with rear wheels only by the way... Fit and finish is awful, example: exposed bolts on the hood right by the hinge point, loose front bumpers, etc. The car was ejected from my life once I received a warrantee extension because of motor problems; apparently they were eating themselves after about 30,000 miles. This car had so much potential in the beginning, but after 1 year and 20,000 miles, and 10 trips to the dealer for warrantee work, I traded it in for a full size Silverado. Looks aside, if GM can't make this platform more reliable, it may be more of a bomb for Saab then a blessing.
