I ordered my Ford F150 in 1992 with a vinyl/"leatherette" interior, and there is not a single tear or wear spot after 11 years and 120K miles. People are astounded it is in such good condition. About once a year, I hose out the interior, then use ArmorAll on surfaces. The leatherette really lasts, and lasted much, much better than the dirt encrusted and cracked leather seats in my Volvo wagon. I'm glad some car manufacturers still offer it!
