The silver sketch looks Acura-like, the yellow BMW-like.
Would I buy a Saab SUV? Maybe. I like the utility of SUVs and every once in awhile our 9-5 wagon is too small. Not often, but still. Gas mileage would still bother me.
The fact that it will have the GM I-6 engine and presumably other GM components is good and bad. Parts *should* be cheaper than Saab parts (or if not I'd make damn sure I bought the "GM" parts, were I to buy one), and the Vortec engine is pretty well tried and true. On the other hand, how many former GM owners had to replace your alternators (raise your hands, mines up too). GM is still GM.
One thing I would miss if I bought the 9-7 is the technical knowledge this board provides. It is invaluable. Would Scott set up a 9-7 board? :-) I suppose the same would apply if I bought any car other than a Saab, though. Scott, I'll say it again, Saab should pay you a salary!!!
