What is asked is basically surgery; there are really three components in an application install:
* the exe's, and such that usually reside in C:\Program Files\Blah (exes, dll's, etc)
* the appropriate entries in the registry (obvious ones that have their own tree and obscure ones that simply add an entry to a list, say, of extension/action pairs)
* DLL's, OCX's and G*d knows what that because of programmer clulessness end up in WINNT\System32 or some other fertile place.
The first is easy to move.
The second is not so easy; you can copy registry entries but if there's a stray one (say, one that is identified by a darned GUID instead of HKLM\Software\Blah) you're hosed.
The third is pretty much flying blind, but you have a chance if error messages are descriptive enough. I.e. if you forgot BLAHXX.OCX and the error says "Could not load BLAHXX.OCX" you know what to do. If it says "Could not load required component" you're done.
Finally, there may be environment / path mysteries that need to be addressed. Doubtful in this day and age, but once in a while I see them.
As I said, not for the faint at heart, for an Adobe sized app.
