If you and she are unconcerned with the point against her driving record you may just pay the fine when the bail notice comes. The bail notice usually takes 30-60 days to arrive, but should come well before the appearance or court date stated on the ticket. If your were in California and you showed up in court on your appearance date as listed on the ticket the judge would likely waive the fine with a clean record. There should also be an address to correspond with the court. Send them a letter and ask to have the fine suspended. Include a certified copy of her driving record in her home state.
If you are concerned with the point against her driving record ask in your letter to be allowed to go to traffic school. You may do this online lately and the point will be dismissed upon completion.
