like others stated the 620 cc duke will have plenty of power, especially since it's your first bike! My first street motorcycle was a 1998 harley ultra classic which was traded in for a 2001, 2002 & now a 2004 model which should be arriving any day. If you want something with no power this is what you should ride. about 70 HP & torque however 800+ lbs makes for SLOW riding however for me I am actually happy it's so slow, never done anything stupid on the bike. I actually compete on a precision drill team (kind of like a marching band except on harleys) & we travel all over the place to compete, lot's of fun!!!
