I have been skiing for 30 years and wouldn't consider boarding now. Boarding sure looks like fun but there are so many different types of skis and styles of skiing that skiing appears to be a more versatile activity. Just go for it, sliding down a snow cover mountain is an absolute gas, you might even think you are in your Saab.....or wish you were!
