How to replace battery in key/remote?

I have the integrated key/remote (not the "key-less" style for the 9-3 sport sedan) for my 9-3. I believe Saab started making this style in 2001.
The remote works intermitently, so I'd like to try replacing the battery in the remote. However, I can't figure out how to take it apart and get at the battery. It looks like there's a small pinhole in the remote. I stuck a paperclip in it, but it didn't seem to do anything.
Does anyone know how to take it apart?
Thanks,
Kirk
