Forget about Trotter's. It's already too late to get a reservation for the spring. My downtown favorites are Everest (about $50 per person), MK ($40), Spiaggia ($50+), and, for a truly wonderful and different experience, Russian Tea Time ($30). For an outstanding "upscale" experience, I recommend TRU ($60+). You can check out most of these at opentable.com, which has lots of info. Russian Tea Time has it's own site: http://www.russianteatime.com.
