that yellow coating is "chromate".most rebuilds will be beadblasted and have a gray look to them.rebuilds should have new pistons though.have a look behind the pads,there should be no rust inside the bucket of the piston if there recenti bet there good calipers though,if they still have that clean look.check the bleed nipples too are they clear of junk and still have the dust plugs?
