My wife's fairly new 9-3 had a leak in a pressurized power steering hose. Covered under warranty so I take it into the dealer first thing Monday morning. They give me a new 9-5 Arc as a loaner, all very uncomplicated, or so I thought. I dropped the car off to her at work, gave her the key, and told her it was a nice car, see ya later. I work later in the day, and so at dinnertime, I get a call from her on her cell phone. She's driving around aimlessly on her way home from work and having me give her a more detailed explanation of the thumb-paddle shift swithches on the steering wheel, etc, etc. Now she wants me to speak to the sales people when I pick up her car and "inquire" about a 9-5.
I sat her down and tried to calmly explain to her why, in fact, why they give you a car like this as a loaner as oppposed to some sort of heap that will get you to your destination and serve the same purpose. She's better now, but she still left 20 minutes early for work this morning, discussing issues of, "Does the Sport Mode default if the Traction Control cuts in......?"
I'm sure that medical tests would confirm my suspicions that the woman's testosterone levels are dangerously high.
