...such as airbags and body parts are almost always paid for by insurance companies. I think the maufacturers sense "deep pockets" and will gouge wherever they can.
Is an airbag (chemical, plastic bag, electrical connectors) really worth 10 times the cost of an alternator (metal (steel and copper), precision castings, machining, assembly of many parts)?
