I can conceal the bike in the hatch after removing both wheels. THe back seats remain w/o any problems for passengers or gear.
My 9-3 gives me some trouble and have to put half the seat down for the bike to fit. I was thinking of making some tasteful cuts into the carpet (or have an interior guy do it) to make it fit.
I have the racks but I won't be able to sleep at night if those bikes are on the roof. Heard of a horror story when a friends bike was stolen... unstrapped the back wheel, swung the bike over the side of the car and pulled. Snapped the fork at the bottom bracket and away they went.
Plus I don't like to have them on top of the car if I can help it.
