Yeah, I saw it mentioned hyper threading, but I didn't think that was the same as multi processor support. I know some of the P4's have HT, but as far as I know, those are not true "dual core" processors. I was under the impression HT was more of an Intel marketing invention than real multi-processing. I think that any application written to run under windows can claim that it's HT compatible, but wether or not it REALLY takes advantage of any performance increase that might be gained by HT technology, who knows... The Pinnacle web site says : "Intel Pentium 4 Processor with HT Technology or Intel Centrino mobile technology together with Pinnacle Software...is the ideal combination for your Digital Home." It would be curious to see a performance comparison between Studio 9 rendering a movie on a regular P4 vs. an HT P4. I would guess any gains would be fractions of a percent if any...
