If anything, you got screwed by the dealer because they charged you extra $60. You are going by the assumption that an aftermarket drain plug caused your oil leak. In truth, your replacement oil pan probably came with the aftermarket drain plug installed. I just don't see why the quick oil change is to blame for that. Most of these places don't bother with replacing the drain plug washer if one is damaged or missing. Most of the time they get away with this. Remember -- they have a business to run. They can't change you so little and still spend all the time required for every possible little issue that comes up. You may be right to expect good basic oil change for your $15 but nothing more. Certainly not a properly fitting drain plug -- after all, your car CAME WITH IT.
