It just appears that the speakers are set up based on space efficiency not sound but if you like it like that then fine. I once went to a Bonnie Raitt concert on Boston Common. The sound was pure shit. Lyrics were unintelligible since the bass was so overemphasized. I went back to the sound board and told the guy operating it (hopefully not you?), who told me to stuff it - he liked it that way. So I realize that everyone has their own taste, especially for sound (and the bass did get turned down quite a bit after I got back to my seat, so who knows?).
