there are going to be problems. The thing with Saabs is that they treat you the way you treat them. If you take the time to do the maintenance and upkeep then you shouldnt have that many problems you DO have to be proactive about it. On the other hand in reality all parts will eventually fail, break, wear out, etc. keep that in mind. If its a Lexus or a Saab or a BMW things break. Having owned 5 different Saabs and 2 different BMWs I will never own anything other than Saab again. The Saab with proper upkeep will run as long as you want it to. They are fast, safe, and distinct. If you want something that sets you aside from everyone else will go when you push the pedal and will keep you alive in an accident then theres no competition in mind. GO with Saab. Remember this board is to share information about the cars so of course if I have a problem even before calling my mechanic Ill check this board let everyone know what happened and I get a good idea if its something I can fix or something I need to take to my mechanic. This board is indispensable If you took a poll of this board I would venture that even with the problems we experience with our cars the majority would say that they still love their cars. That speaks volumes.
