BCPR6ES are pregapped to 0.8mm and that works very well for the car.
The BCPR6ES-11 are pregapped to 1.1mm
It is a lot of controversy about spark plug gap and everyone has an opinion.
One thing we know for sure is that the gap will erode over time so if you start with a gap of 1.1mm (which is what Saab says is maximum suggested) you will erode out of range in no time.
If you start with a gap of 0.8mm the sparkplug will erode into the recommended setting and you wont really know the difference.
This goes for most people that just drive the car and let the mechanic see it every so often.
People that frequent this board is more up to speed with taking care of their car themself and might regap the plugs every 5-10K miles keeping it exactly at the right gap.
Another theory we have seen is that a wider gap will put extra stress onto the ignition discharge module so therefore using the 1.1mm gapped plugs you might damage the IDM quicker.
