GM is promoting the AutoShow In Motion again. I went last year and it was quite entertaining. The have several areas set up with appropriate courses for various classes of vehicles featuring GM vehicles versus the competition.

The Saabs were matched with the CTS Caddy's, 3 and 5 BMW's, C Class Benz, Lexus ES300 (330?), and Buick Park Avenues and a few others, maybe a Volvo, that I can't remember. There's an individual line for each vehicle. They had a 9-3 Linear and Aero, an Arc Vert, 9-5 Arc SportWagon and 9-5 Aero sedan as I remember.

There's also a Hummer area, large truck, SUV, sedans including Camry, Accord, Malibu where they also stuck the GTO, and couple of others and to finish up there was the choice of a Corvette or Chevy SSR pick-up, take the Corvette, the SSR is kinda' doggy and this year it'll be a C6!

Except with the Corvette and SSR you drive by yourself through a course and they seem willing to let you sqeal the tires a little. With the Corvette and the SSR you drive with a pro and the track is very fast and the encourage vigorous driving!

The hospitality is very good. They give everyone box lunches, free soft drinks and water, and a free T-shirt.

AND you get a $500 coupon (above and beyond all current offers) towards your next GM vehicle if you buy relatively soon.

It's fun and it's free and it could be worth $500 if you know you're buying something soon.

There's one in Englewood Feb 10-13 and it's coming to San Diego at Qualcom Stadium parking lot Mar 3-6, also Orlando FL mar 3-6.
