First question. Do you hear the engine turning over (rotating) when you turn the key but it doesn't fire up?
Does it happen after you have driven the car for awhile and park it for 10-30 min before getting back into the car and start it.
If yes on both questions it could be the CKP sensor (CranK shaft Position sensor).
That sensor has a tendency to get heat sensitive at the end of its lifespan and when it cools down again it work perfect until next time it gets hot.
If your dealer have the interest they can drive the car until it gets really hot, turn off the engine and leave the car sitting for 10 min with hood closed. After that they can measure the resistance over pin 1 and 2 of the CKP sensor.
If the resistance reading is several 100s (or even 1000s) of Ohm over the nominal value (860 Ohm)the sensor in your car it is most likely at fault.
Also, if you post your question on the 9-5 board you will get more answers.
