I've downloaded the picture and enlarged it. You can see the damage on the hood, the right hind leg is in the car and the A-pillar also is damaged.
I grew up in Abitibi (northern Quebec) where on a few occasions, I have seen live moose. They are one of the more majestic animals because of their height!!
That the bumper and front part of the hood are not damaged is typical...
Hence the importance of strong A-pillars!!!
