With all due respect to the poster, this board and Saab, this sounds like a bunch of recently graduated "creatives" that just got an assignment, the creative director said something about Saab owners historically being "quirky" and they are phishing for ad campaign fodder.

I can see where this is going. I'll sell off my Saabs if the next ad campaign turns to green haired people with body modification art, wierd pets and odd lifestyles that lease Saabs for 39 months because the cars are as individualistic as they are.

If they want free research, why don't they search the boards here and see a variety of hobbies, interests and social concerns that owners are involved with. Computers, pets, careers, solar power, choices in colleges, financial matters, electronics, safety, family/health matters, not to mention the state of independence of fixing the thing yourself, are all discussed here. We help each other. High quality real time stuff, some pretty robust data to be parsed if you really want to identify our interests as a potential customer. But not as easy as having someone e-mail some self expression piece in to you......

I can just hear the sing-song Valley speak in the ad. "Saab. Like, you know? Whatevuehrrrr........."
