The Kumho is a pretty good tire for the price. I just bought 6 for a service truck and they're running nicely with about 1500 miles on them so far. Initially the ride was pretty wallowy but they've seemed to settle down after 500 miles. We'll see how long they last and how well they work when 50% worn; every tire feels nice when new.
Hard to argue with the Michelin LTX M/S. Probably the finest tire of its kind ever made. The Michelin Cross Terrain will offer a smoother quieter ride in exchange for wear (C/T's are good for 40K, LTX even longer).
My buddy ran Cross Terrain's on his Tahoe to about 40K and replaced them with the new Yokohama Geolandar HT/S. So far he likes them. The Yokos run a little noisier and stiffer than the C/T's but are lots cheaper.
