Based on your other post, you most likely have 1 256M dimm installed already though it's possible you have 2 128M modules. You should open the case and locate the memory slots to visually verify what you need. Be careful if you are planning on upgrading the memory yourself, static can kill a new dimm and sometimes even other components inside the case if they get hit. Also based on your other post, the most you can put in this machine is 512M, so you either need 1 more 256M module or 2, again depending on what's already in there. If you see 2 dimms in there already, you need 2 new ones to replace them both (since this would mean you have 2 129M dimms). You most likely can't change they type of memory, there aren't a lot of systems that allow this, so stick with the same kind you already have. Like another poster said, memory configurators almost always pick the right upgrades, so try one or two of those out to figure out what you need.
